The Cottage was built in the early 1930s for a family member. It is a beautiful, stand-alone property on the edge of the Rookery Park estate.

Renovated to an exceptional standard during 2024, it is spacious with great character and many original features, making it the perfect property for a getaway to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.

The Cottage has 1 twin, 1 super king and 2 king bedrooms upstairs. There is a sofa bed downstairs, but this is to be used in place of an upstairs room for those unable to use the stairs. The property sleeps a maximum of 8. Upstairs there is a separate family bathroom and shower room; the shower room has a Jack and Jill door leading to one of the king rooms. Downstairs has a sitting room, referred to as the snug and a living room with a working wood burner. Both rooms have double doors leading onto a patio area complete with garden furniture. The kitchen is open plan with a breakfast bar area, separate dining room, downstairs shower room and wc. There is plenty of parking available and a fenced in garden at the back of the property which looks out to views over the estate.
